In this episode we explore the destructive consequences of land management under the US government's land trust system.
Uranium mining, conducted by various corporations starting in the 1920s and ending in 1986, has left a deadly legacy on the Navajo reservation that will continue for generations.
Now some mining corporations want to start uranium mining operations using a process similar to fracking!
We will also be presenting the second installment of Unresolved - part of a documentary series about the preservation of Oak Flat (located onSan Carlos Apache treaty lands) and the surrounding area in AZ.
